There is no such thing as business as usual. Humans are very good at forgetting things. But when the world tries to communicate with us, to teach us something, we need to listen, and we need to adapt. That is what business as usual is. While the urgency will pass, the issues don’t. This is when you strengthen things, fix things. This isn’t the time to assign blame, push the issues aside or get back to business as it was before. Make what you do count, every day because we aren’t here on this planet for very long. Business schools are too often unnecessarily slow creatures that fight change. Put in place mechanisms within your programmes and institution to ensure that you are able to learn from this unprecedented situation, adapt through it, become stronger and that you will be able to react and adapt again and again, regardless of the situation.
