Everyone is in a different situation in quarantine. While some are struggling to stay on top of things, others have more free time than they know what to do with. We need to find more ways to tap into this group to pair these students with organisations in the community dealing with COVID-19 that need additional people power. One way is by filtering data. Several games have been developed by researchers where anyone can help accelerate vaccine discovery. Similar platforms exist for many other issues both in science as well as in society in general (citizen scientists). Facilitate the connection between these groups and your community (even beyond COVID-19).
