Have programmes where non academics can spend a short amount of time on campus as an “academic”. This 6 month programme would involve guest lectures, a research project, and anyone could apply for one of these positions. The time is paid an appropriate amount and has access to the campus. The duration could be more or less. Let me know if you start something like this…
