This short multi-disciplinary assignment, capstone, or even full class, engages students in identifying a product or service, and rethinking it based on the circular economy. This could also be a technology, supply chain, process or approach to business. Students in teams will explore this topic from different perspectives, using their chosen product or service as a base. Exercises will touch on all the core business topics, asking students to explore supply chain, financing, and even write a business plan for a new version of the selected product or service at the end. Partnerships with the companies that produce these tools and services will help the students, and these partners in turn also gain from the experience.
