Magazines around the world are swapping their usual celebrity front covers with doctors, nurses and paramedics, in particular female healthcare professionals. This is because over 70% of global health workers are women, which means much of the COVID-19 response is being handled by women. This presents a golden opportunity for business schools to rethink the face of leadership from several different angles. What does a leader look like? Are they from a particular industry? What can we learn about leadership from a whole range of leaders? What can we learn about leadership from those who are leading the COVID-19 response?
